On top of the Western release date of Soul Sacrifice, Sony have announced that the Vita titles Freedom Wars and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (Over My Dead Body 2 / Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke 2) are heading to the west at some point this year.
Freedom Wars is being developed by a hand full of studios including SCE Japan, Dimps and Shift (God Eater). It sets you in a bleak future where pollution has destroyed the world and citizens are forced to live in over populated cities. They are that over populated that if you commit a crime you will be sentenced to a lifetime sentence and the only thing you can do is to battle huge monsters to bring your sentence down.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is an RPG in which you take charge of an ancient Japanese clan who have been cursed with a short life. How short? Two years! So, as you may have guessed, the goal of the games is to take the clan on a journey to lift the curse.
